Aloes

There are hundreds of species of Aloe with various forms and sizes, including small, dainty flowering aloe, stemless succulent rosettes just a few inches tall, to much larger species of flowering tree Aloe. Aloes have a waxy surface to their succulent leaves, are easy to grow and will adapt well to harsh climates, by storing water and food within their leaves and roots. They produce spectacular, showy flowers many times of the year with clusters of yellow, orange or red tubular flowers.
