Perennial plants add colour to your garden through every season - Hellebores in winter, Alstroemeria in spring and beyond, Delphiniums in summer, Gingers in summer and autumn. You can find perennials that love sun and others thrive in the shade and all give displays year after year.
- Roses
All the Roses sold by Garden Express are bud grafted roses. They are supplied as bare rooted plants when dormant during the winter months. The roots are washed free of soil prior to being packed into bags filled with wet, clean packing medium to keep the roots moist and the plant fresh during transit for up to two weeks. Roses establish well in their first year and continue to flourish becoming more hardy as years go by.
We recommend ordering as early as possible as popular varieties often sell out prior to the end of the season.
Despatch of the large number of pre-ordered Roses once they have been dug takes several weeks and for the best results we prefer to send Roses that are properly dormant rather than dig them early.
Although Rose orders are despatched from early June, due to seasonal factors and the large number of orders to be sent, despatch of all outstanding orders can take several weeks so we appreciate your patience.

Daffodil Ice King
Narcissus
Ice king has pretty all-over creamy yellow flowers with tightly ruffled centres. Ideal for garden beds, pots and containers, they have strong stems making them suitable as a cutflower. They prefer a full sun to part shade position, in well drained soil. Early spring flowering.
Grows 30-40cm high x 12cm wide.
