Pothos Cebu Blue
Pothos Cebu Blue (Epipremnum pinnatum) is also known as Epipremnum Cebu Blue, or even Devil’s Ivy Cebu Blue.
This cliimbing vine is every bit as easy to care for as any of the other Epipremnun, and the unusual silvery blue colouring of the foliage makes this one a real standout.
With two distinct foliage phases, Pothos Cebu Blue shows off elongated silvery to blue grey foliage that can often be different from leaf to leaf; with different lighting showing off various hues.
Mature foliage is a little more green with blue undertones and as the plant ages the foliage disects and shows off interesting cuts and holes in the leaves.
Like all Pothos, Cebu Blue is a good choice for beginner indoor gardeners as these plants will grow well even if you don’t have a green thumb. They thrive on minimal care and quickly bounce back if they have not been watered for a few days in warmer weather.
For best results use a good premium potting mix and water regularly, fertilise using a general purpose fertiliser, following the packet directions for quantity and frequency.
Devils Ivy Jade will cope well with low light situations; the jade green leaves will become more golden in a well lit area, and darker in lower light, but will burn if in direct sunlight for too long. For best results ensure a brightly lit situation where you can see your shadow for at least 3-4 hours of the day.
