What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily nursery operations and work closely with a small, dedicated team
- Operate and maintain nursery vehicles, including tractors and motorbikes
- Perform general repairs on nursery infrastructure (benches, igloos, machinery)
- Maintain and set up automated watering and irrigation systems
- Propagate trees, sow seeds, and take cuttings
- Support with general planting and production tasks
- Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding work
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a nursery or similar environment
- Good communicator and team player
- Physically fit, active, and able to safely handle manual tasks
- Willing to assist in other areas of the business as needed
- Eager to be trained on tractors and motorbikes
Other Details
- You’ll need your own transport—public transport isn’t easily accessible in Monbulk
- Casual role, 5 days per week (up to 38 hours), with the potential for a permanent full-time position for the right person
