What is Rock Daisy?

Rock Daisy (Brachyscome multifida), also known as the Swan River Daisy or Cut Leaf Daisy, is a compact herbaceous perennial. It is part of the Asteraceae family and is native to Australia. Rock Daisy is a spreading ground cover to shrub that has fine dark green ferny foliage. They flower throughout the year with the major flushes occurring in Spring and Summer. Daisy like flowers appear above the foliage ranging in colours of mauve/purple, pink or white with a yellow center. Rock Daisy grows best in a full sun position but can tolerate part shade. They are hardy plants and will grow in most soil types. They tolerate light frosts and dry spells once established.
