We are looking for an entry level or intermediate bookkeeper to assist the senior accounts manager with the financial records and documentation of our long-standing company.

About the company:

VanBerkel Distributors: Garden Express is Australia’s largest online and mail order garden supplier and has been family owned for more than 70 years. Our warehouse and nursery are located in Monbulk, Victoria. We send out plants, trees, bulbs and garden accessories via post to our retail customers. We also package for other wholesale and retail companies. Our team consists of 80 employees during peak periods as well as contractors. We are looking to develop our team! We value hard-working, reliable and driven individuals that will join our family-owned business.
Duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Bank Recs
  • Creditor and Debtor payments
  • Payroll- 60-80 employes.
  • General book keeping duties
  • Assist with BAS

Essential criteria

  • Some previous bookkeeping experiences
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Intermediate computer skills and previous use of common bookkeeping software. We use MYOB

Note:  This is strictly a non-work from home situation. You must be able to attend the office for your working days.

* Public transport is not easily accessible in Monbulk therefore you must have your own transport.
