Winter Colour Part 2 2020

Welcome to the final part of our Winter 2020 E-Catalogues. As promised, this one is also dedicated to Garden Colour and features an amazing array of colourful and easy to grow bulbs, tubers and plants that are ideal to plant now so they explode into colour in late Spring to Summer.

Liliums feature heavily in this catalogue, and despite their delicate appearance they are really very easy to grow. All they need to do well is to be planted into a sunny spot with a fertile well drained soil. They are relatively pest and disease free and so long as they are fertilised regularly and not waterlogged during the Winter months they will usually re-appear year after year, as well as easily multiplying too!

For gardeners in the cooler climates we have a beautiful spread of herbaceous Peony ‘Roses’. These tend to be the ‘Holy Grail’ of gardeners and they are truly magnificent as a cut flower or flowering out in the garden. A cold Winter and a generous application of Dolomite Lime, pelletised chook manure and Blood & Bone is usually enough to guarantee success with these beauties. For those who love water features and water gardens we have our usual installment
of Japanese Iris and Water Lilies. There is nothing nicer than relaxing near a water
garden in the heat of Summer and these beauties will make your pond complete
with their colourful flowers and interesting foliage; they will also give your fish
somewhere to hide from the local birds as well.

way of presenting our Winter products to you in this strange new world we have
found ourselves in but we can’t wait to get back to normal with our printed Spring
