A fantastic addition to the cottage garden, Snapdragons are very easy to grow. Simply plant them out in a sunny spot with a fertile well drained soil, or select a large pot to show them off to their best. Regular watering and feeding over the Summer months will ensure flowers throughout the season, and picking these for the vase will result in a regular flush well into Autumn. Prtoection from strong winds is advisable as this can damage developing flower heads.

Usually known as an annual plant, correct fertilising during the growing season and Winter shelter in cool climates will see these colourful plants grow on through Winter, and in cooler climates these plants should readily self seed providing many years of gorgeous colour.
