Heliconia Parrots Beak

Heliconia rostrata
Spectacular hanging lobster claws of vivid red, yellow, green and pale yellow/green dayflowers in summer reliably as far south as Sydney. Growing 1.5m in Sydney and to 2-3 m in Queensland. Heliconias take 2-3 years to begin flowering. Shade loving plants, protect from frost. Grows to 2m tall.
