The image above is intended as a guide to how deep to plant various flowering bulbs.
It is also very useful as a means to identify different bulbs from their shape and which way up they should be planted. Planting depth will sometimes
vary depending on soil conditions and the size of the individual bulb. Generally speaking, larger bulbs planted in pots will be planted somewhat
more shallow than shown in the diagram unless the container is particularly large.
