Greigi Tulips are shorter making them ideal for pots, rockeries and borders. They tend to have unusual leaves that are broad with darker markings.
Species Tulips are less widely grown and known than the garden hybrid Tulips.
Tulip species are not difficult to grow. They are usually smaller and less bold than the garden hybrids.
Planted in the right place, they will re-bloom year after year with colourful flowers, and, in time, may multiply by themselves.
