I'm fairly late on this... but went for a look at the Mount Waverley Bonsai Show in the middle of August. The members put on another lovely display and also seemed to have more demos running, which was also good. A few pics (and apologies for the flashed-out look):

Thanks, Guzzi. I think they did a particularly nice job of the displays this year (despite the flash-out view).

I do like the 'Moon' pots. I've got one of those somewhere. Have to dig it out and plant something in it.

Not sure Luzy. I've got some small Chinese Elms that might look good in it.
