Your Guide to Shop with Garden Express Online

Garden Express offers a large range of products and many products are seasonal due to their growing cycles. The products that are out of season are available to view to help with ideas and to plan your garden but cannot be purchased until they are again available (except where pre-order specials are offered). Please note that products for each season are regularly reviewed and as well as new products added, some products may not be offered in future catalogues so check availability when the new seasons products are listed.

If you know exactly what you are looking for in our exciting range of bulbs, perennials, roses, landscaping and exotic plants or garden gifts and accessories, simply choose from our extensive list in the Main Menu.

If you cannot see what you are looking for in the current menus, use the SEARCH facility to find it. Simply type a phrase or word in the space provided and click SEARCH. (By clicking 'Search' instead of using your 'Enter' key you will have a more extensive search.)

For some excellent savings try our 'Online Specials' page. You can be advised via email of major special offers so make sure you register for them today.

We often have some fantastic Catalogue Specials which offer extra discounts and are great value for money. These may be in specific pack quantities, to order simply select the pack size in the drop down box and then type the number of packs required in the box provided.

To purchase a product, type the quantity required in the box provided and click the 'ADD TO BASKET' icon. To select further items, click on a product in the Menu. You may view the items in your basket by selecting 'VIEW BASKET' and to process your order simply select 'CHECK OUT'.

Delivery options vary with the seasons as products such as roses and other large items are more expensive to deliver. Normal delivery is $7.50 Australia-wide but you will see the applicable delivery choices before you enter your details for delivery. The summary of all current delivery options is:

Orders containing Weeping Roses together with other products delivered at the same time will incur a $25.50 freight charge.

Orders containing Standard and/or Patio Roses together with other products delivered at the same time will incur a $20.50 freight charge.

Orders containing other Roses or 140mm or greater pots together with other products delivered at the same time will incur a $10.50 freight charge.

Orders NOT containing Roses, Bare-rooted or Citrus Trees or 140+mm pots and delivered at one time, will incur a $7.50 freight charge.

Orders not containing Roses but containing products from two different seasons that require separate deliveries will incur two $7.50 freight charges (ie $15.00) (unless a free freight offer applies).

Orders containing Roses AND requiring two separate deliveries will incur a $7.50 freight charge PLUS the applicable Rose freight charge (ie $18.00, $28.00 or $33.00) (unless order includes Lucky Dip Spring Bulb Offer).

A $4 Quarantine Inspection Surcharge applies in addition to the Delivery Charge for orders delivered to Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia due to the increased complexity of quarantine requirements.

We prefer not to change an order once it has been received and a charge of $5.00 applies to cover the additional processing costs.

Where 'Free Delivery' vouchers apply to an order, details of the voucher should be entered in the "Your message to us" field.
- Orders (except Spring Flowering Pre-orders) are normally despatched between 7 to 14 working days from the time of ordering. Delivery times may be extended during peak periods (typically following the release of the latest catalogue), extended public holidays or if extreme weather conditions are not suitable for live plant transport. Please allow additional delivery time for orders to Queensland, Tasmania and Western Australia due to quarantine restrictions.

Accept the terms and conditions and choose a method of payment before selecting 'NEXT' to process your order.

Your credit card details are entered in a secure site. After submitting you order you will receive an email advising that your order has been successfully transmitted. Your credit card will not be debited until your order has been processed and this may not happen immediately if we need to confirm that all the items in your order are available. You will know your order has been processed if your credit card hads been debited. Alternatively you have the option of printing your order and faxing it to us on 1800 063 739 or mailing it to us with a cheque or money order to Garden Express, Reply Paid 68541, Monbulk, VIC, 3793. You can also print a copy of the order form in the current catalogue by clicking on the relevant link on the Catalogue page and using your browser's print command.
- If any of the items included in your order are sold out or otherwise unavailable we will not charge your credit card for that item. If you have paid by cheque or money order we will refund your money if requested for amounts over $7.50, otherwise we will substitute with a similar product of the same or greater value. Items that are temporarily unavailable will be backordered and sent to you when they are in stock again.
- Due to the dynamic nature of garden products and living plants in particular, though we make reasonable effort to ensure listed stock is available in the form described and at the indicated price, we reserve the right to amend or decline orders where we find the website content to be inaccurate or out of date at the time of processing orders. If the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged we will immediately refund your purchase if you do not wish to proceed with your order due to an error or omission on our part.
- While we take great care in the realistic representation of our images, many variables such as climatic conditions and natural variation may effect the precise appearance of each variety. Generally images used are of mature specimens whilst supplied stock may be dormant or juvenile plants that will develop with time. The images are intended as a guide only.
