Clivias (C. miniata) are delightful, hardy plants that can be used to provide foliage and colour where other plants do not thrive. They have long dark green strap-like leaves all year with clusters of trumpet flowers on tall stems in late winter and spring.
Clivias grow well in most areas of Australia only requiring protection from extreme cold and preferring shaded areas. They are ideal under trees where other plants do not grow because of the shade and competition with tree roots. Clivias tolerate dry periods and grow to about 40-60cm tall, forming a clump over time.
Clivias are supplied bare-rooted unless otherwise indicated.
